Day 17
Okay, I am totally in failure mode! lol. I ate a donut yesterday morning! I had the worst headache I have ever had and decided to feed it! For lunch I had a 4 piece kids meal from Chick Fil A. AHhh!! Last night we had a birthday party for my niece and had pizza delites from Papa Murphy's and cakes. I haven't totalled my calories for the day, but I am pretty sure I was over! Okay, so we are going to have these days, right? But after looking in the mirror last night I decided it is time to get serious. I am going to start up on either P90x or Insanity on Monday. That way I know for sure that I am going to get some good exercise in!

I am doing good on exercising, I've been logging a total of 4.25 miles at the gym and I've been going 5 days a week. But I need to start some strength training, I literally cannot do 1 push up! I took Tuesday and Wednesday off from the gym this week because of our 5k tonight :)
ReplyDeleteI also need to get better on the eating side of things. I've been doing a dannon light and fit yogurt for breakfast, along with coffee (fat free/sugar free). For lunch it has pretty much been whatever I can find. Dinners are hit and miss on the healthy scale. I need to download the app still too and get a better scale, but I am down 5 lbs! I would like to lose 10 more... I'll keep on trucking along...
On the days I'm home I'm in the habit of swimming about 3000 meters every day but Sunday (sorry about the metric system, the pool is 25 meters long). When I'm on the road I'm less consistent. I sometimes do stationary bike or walk the local area. Unfortunately I don't run anymore due to a bad hip. The struggles of getting old :-(.
